...it is time to move forward...

I used to wake up every morning worried about what was going to happen that day or how I was going to make things better.  I'd spend the entire day trying to understand the "what" behind the "why" of the "where" I'm at in my life now.  That becomes so exhausting and I've come to realize that there is absolutely nothing I can do besides give up all my fears, needs, wants, desires, worries and fears of every situation and fully rely on God.

Do not worry about tomorrow.  (Matthew 6:34)  I'm totally abandoning all to Him, everything that I have, every worry that I have confrontation with everyday, it's all His to deal with.  (Matthew 11:30) My yoke is easy and my burden is light!  That sounds much better than the headache I give myself everyday!  I will no longer worry about what's going to happen now, 2 months, or 5 years because He knows the plans He has for me... prosperity, hope, and a future.  (Jeremiah 29:11)  I'm giving it all to him so that I can MOVE FORWARD!  If I hold on to my own desires, it doesn't give him much room to put His hands in and do the amazing things that He has planned for me. (2 Corinthians 1:20)  I want to go all the way... letting it all go, burn the bridges, cut the rope, take a leap of faith, don't look back, just PRESS ON!  Press on to the prize of knowing God. (2 Peter 1:2)  You gotta move, one way or the other, forward or backward.

I will cling to Him, my best friend, the one that restores and makes all things new!  He will do a work in my life because, unlike humans, he keeps his word and doesn't disappoint.  As a matter of fact, he does above all that I can imagine!  I'm ready for Him to get back to completing the work he began in me.  (Phillipians 1:6)  I don't want even one of my boney fingers on any aspect of my life.  In the end, I will be beautiful and the pieces will be put together and the best part... He will get the glory!  I'll be able to say this is where I was, this is where he's brought me, all credit is due to Him! (Revelation 4:11)

I can honestly say... my reliance and confidence are totally in Christ!  No more looking back at the past or what could have been... only forward from here!  I'm forgiven and loved by the greatest man in history!  What more do I need?  When I'm with my daddy... my innocence is restored!  I am made new in Christ!
This isn't to say that I can just sit still and do nothing, becoming stagnant like motionless water.  Definitely not.. it's time to MOVE!  It just simply means that I can walk in the strength and my growing knowledge of God.  I can rest in his arms when I am weak and weary.  (Matthew 11:28)  When I worry, I can hand it to Him and he makes the burden light.  If I worry about what others say about me or if I'm truly forgiven, I can remember that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ!  (Romans 8:1)  When I wish someone else would change, He can show me what I need to change about myself instead.  When I wake up in the morning, I don't have to be overwhelmed with life but I can rejoice that my Daddy has everything under control.  Most importantly, I can tell everyone about His love and what He has done for me!  I can actually worship Him for who He is because I actually know more about who He is to me!! (1 John 4:16)
